We would not recommend the use of any of the below acid based solutions when descaling sensitive metals such as as aluminium and any galvanised metals. Please contact our technical department for specialist advice in this regard.

Contains a specialist film forming inhibitor which protects bare metal surfaces, including mild steel, stainless steel and yellow metals, during the descaling operation.
HC42	Can be used for a variety of descaling operations where calcium carbonate is present as the main scale component	Sulphamic acid granules	Less corrosive than Hydrochloric acid. It is recommended that for most applications HC 41 (corrosion inhibitor) is used in conjunction with HC42.
HC78	A strong acid descaler. Used to remove carbonate scales and iron oxide deposits.	Hydrochloric acid	Suitable for descaling boiler plant and cooling towers. Not recommended for use with stainless steel.
HC139	On-line descaler for cooling towers. Non acid formulation	Contains a unique polyphosphonate.	A very effective calcium carbonate and calcium sulphate scale inhibitor and remover for use on-line in open cooling syetems.
HC532	Can be used for a variety of descaling operations where carbonate is present as the main scale component	Formic acid + corrosion inhibitor	Less corrosive than Hydrochloric acid
HC661	All in one shower head descaler and sanitiser	A blend of acids and an effective disinfectant	Removes calcium and magnesium carbonate scale. Disinfects - Effective against legionella spp and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
HC847	All in one shower head descaler and sanitiser with colour change indicator	A blend of acids and an effective disinfectant	Removes calcium and magnesium carbonate scale. Disinfects - Effective against legionella spp and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Solution changes colour to indicate when the acid component is depleted beyond the point when effective de-scaling is possible
HC894	Gentle descaler suitable for use in potable water applications	Citric acid	Non toxic acidic formulation suitable for descaling kettles, drinking water hot water boilers and domestic water pipework
HC1148	All in one descaler and sanitiser with thickener for enhanced adherence to surfaces	A blend of acids and an effective disinfectant	Removes calcium and magnesium carbonate scale. Disinfects - Effective against legionella spp and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Viscous formulation for use on fixed shower heads, tap fittings and other hard surfaces. Formualted to adhere to surfaces to allow effective descaling and sanitising.
HC1535	A strong acid solution. Used to remove carbonate scales and iron oxide deposits.	Hydrochloric acid + corrosion inhibitor	Suitable for descaling boiler plant and cooling towers. Contains a corrosion inhibitor to protect bare metal surfaces during cleaning procedures. Not recommended for use with stainless steel.

HC243	For the cleaning and pre-treatment of steam boiler plant ‘’alkali boil-out’’	Contains caustic soda, surfactants and dispersants	Ensures a clean system for start-up. Contributes to efficient boiler operation. All-in-one product.
HC334	Hard surface cleaning, AHU and duct work cleaning. Cleaning of food contact surfaces and equipment	Powerful caustic detergent	Safe to use on most surfaces including PVC, stainless steel and aluminium. Suitable for the removal of difficult greasy soils. Can be used in automated traywash equipment.
